I8-Pro is intended for adults and seniors who want strong digital amplification without being locked into one wearing style. Its standard 3.5 mm listening output works with compatible wired headphones or earphones, and the package includes both headband headphones and in-ear earphones. This lets the listener try a larger, easier-to-handle headband style at home and a smaller in-ear option when portability matters.

Headphone and earphone compatibility

Use wired listening accessories with a compatible standard 3.5 mm plug. Headband headphones rest on or around the ears and can be easier to position, remove, and share within a household. In-ear earphones are compact and may feel less bulky, but correct tip fit matters for comfort and stable sound. Before turning I8-Pro on, connect the preferred listening accessory firmly, set the volume low, and then increase it gradually. If using another pair of headphones or earbuds, confirm the plug and fit are compatible rather than using an adapter that places strain on the socket. Use the separate microphone to improve the source

Point the directional microphone toward a conversation partner, television, teacher, or presenter. When the listener needs to remain farther away, the included 3 m microphone extension cable can position the microphone closer to the wanted sound while the I8-Pro controls stay at the listener's side. Keep the microphone away from rubbing clothing and nearby noise, then make one placement or volume change at a time. This setup is useful for conversations, TV programs, community meetings, classes, and presentations.

Which iRoger model should you choose?

Choose I8-Pro when included headphone and earphone flexibility is a deciding factor. Choose IR8 for a simpler package centered on headband headphones, or MAX when Bluetooth phone audio, EQ choices, or wireless microphone and TV listening through optional TX transmitters is required.
