In-ear buds were not an option for her, as she doesn’t find them comfortable—something I’m sure many others can relate to. One of the standout features is its compatibility with standard headphones, making it adaptable to personal preferences. While it comes with small headphones that work well, my mother prefers using her own, which is a major plus. The included extender cord ensures that conversations don’t have to happen right next to the device, offering greater flexibility.

The sound quality is impressive, with a clear and adjustable volume that allows for customized amplification. Whether my mother is listening to a TV 10 feet away or engaging in a conversation, she can easily adjust the volume knob to suit the situation.

We brought these to my 86-year-old mother-in-law, and when we put the headphones on and my husband spoke, her eyes lit up, and she smiled from ear to ear! We were nearly in tears. It was the first time in two years she could hear her son's voice at a normal level. Before this, we had to get close and practically yell for her to hear us. This affordable device has been a miracle, and we are so incredibly grateful for it!

I had previously purchased a set of hearing aids recommended by my doctor, which were much more expensive than this pair, but I wasn’t very satisfied with them. However, with my new hearing amplifier, I hear much better, and I now wear them every day. An added bonus is that I don’t have to worry about changing batteries. I’m really happy with my purchase!

I wish I could give this device ten stars! My 101-year-old mother was struggling with hearing, even with her hearing aids, and became so frustrated that she stopped wearing them altogether. We decided to give this a try as a last resort. After setting it up, I placed the earbuds in her ears, turned it on, and the first thing she said was, 'WOW, I can hear again!' She absolutely loves it. Before, she had to turn the TV volume all the way up, but now she enjoys watching it at a normal level. This has truly been a game changer for her!

I was initially hesitant to purchase these, but given the price, I figured I had nothing to lose by giving them a try. I'm 83 and just couldn't afford the $5,000-$6,000 for hearing aids, so I opted for these—and wow, I’m so glad I did! They are incredibly comfortable, and I can now hear every little word clearly. This device is truly amazing! My elderly father, who has severe hearing loss, was recently hospitalized. Despite having expensive hearing aids, he refuses to wear them due to concerns about losing or having them stolen. This caused a lot of frustration and made his care more challenging. After reading positive reviews, I decided to give this device a try, and I’m so glad I did. It’s small, lightweight, and incredibly powerful – exactly as advertised. It made my dad’s hospital stay much more manageable, giving him a sense of empowerment and allowing him to actively participate in his care and decision-making.

The only minor issue was the short micro USB charging cable, as it didn’t come with a plug. Thankfully, I had an old phone plug that worked, but you might want to have a longer micro USB/USB A charging cable or an extension cord (6-10’) on hand. Overall, this device has been a game changer

This hearing amplifier really stands out from the rest. It allows you to "pinpoint" exactly where you want to focus your hearing, rather than picking up all the surrounding sounds at once. The device comes with a microphone attachment that plugs into the main unit, letting you isolate and amplify sound from a specific area. The long cables provide plenty of flexibility for adjusting and positioning the device for optimal hearing. The volume control is simple to operate, and the charging is convenient with a standard USB cable that can plug into a laptop or the included wall adapter. I was able to clearly hear audio from my phone even with the volume set to its lowest level. One thing to note, though: if you're using this near other electrical devices, be mindful not to get too close, as you might experience some interference. Overall, it's an excellent device!

This product is exactly as advertised. I purchased it for my 102-year-old mother, who had hearing aids fitted by a professional audiologist. However, her hearing had declined so much that the hearing aids no longer worked effectively.
